Identification of Healing Tools

There is a natural draw between healing stones and healers. In fields of emptiness they find each other. It can take a great deal of time to understand a healing stone and how it can be used. Much of this time is spent in evaluating reactions of the healing stones in healing situations. There is a built-in fail safe so that no combination of stone and healer can use any energy unbeknownst to either. Consistency of response within measurable limits of tolerance identifies the use of such stones in healing applications. The striped stones shown relate to healing of the head and upper body respectively. The non-colored stone is neutral however, it is used to close healing circuits or to provide a point where negative energies can safely flow. Shaman has spent many hours polishing each of these stones by hand.

The hand of the healer learns the sensitivities of the energies we live in day to day and can differentiate those energies essential in healing. This occurs on every healer’s path. The Spirit of the Earth will always guide a healer and present those situations in life that persuade healing as a vocation. All who seek the path to enlightenment eventually become healers as it is part of the commitment of helping every sentient being. As energies are directed or blocked during healing ceremonies by using the appropriate tools such as a crystalline lattice or a compound essence, a resonance on every level, when harmonized, becomes health.

Power stones that contain multiple crystalline or microcrystalline slices show a range of sensitivity as differentiated by their thickness that can allow the recognition and the manipulation of different energy levels in a single tool. The energy pathways in our bodies are comfortably thought of as initiating at a very fine level and collecting or branching as needed in our auric field. In healing practices, power stones of this nature may be used in diagnosis as the stone is passed through the auric field. Healing takes place at fine, discriminatory levels as well as levels that make up the gross physical sensations we associate with pain and discomfort. Of course every available means for diagnosis should be taken whenever possible. Power stones offer a way that relies on the auric interplay of the healer, seeker and the stone in a close setting with a known background energy definition. Appropriate healing techniques can then be applied.

There are remnants of life seemingly trapped inside of power stones. When you glimpse their personality, it seems as though you recognize the person or creature as someone you either know or could know. In every instance, touching these stones leads to a smile, laugh, frown or question. They carry a power all their own. We recognize them as one of us. It is one of the most convincing aspects of shamanism that rarely requires an explanation. These stones seem to bring with them an acceptance that they are what they appear to be but also are so much more.
