Stones that Are Still Alive

Stones are formed by many processes. They are reformed by heat, pressure and tectonic forces. Stones most often break and wear to sand. Others can and have been broken but have somehow healed and stayed alive. The forces of the Spirit of the Earth are unimaginable.

Stones may sometimes be affected by the forces of heat and pressure. Some great motion tore this stone nearly in two. When the stone is grasped by the open end and squeezed, the stone will slightly give. It is an unusual feeling, a common stone that has a nature like that of a metal spring. The little block shaped piece in the triangular hole can be moved. It does not fall out.

With such characteristics, Shaman feels that this stone shares a degree of life with all of us.
