Consider the paths we travel as we move through our day. Our homes and neighborhoods are crisscrossed with wires, cables and plumbing. The roads we travel are lined above and below with cables and wires carrying energy and information. All around us are transmitters and amplifiers that infuse our world with a sea of electromagnetic radiation. Train lines, power distribution systems, metal structures and bridges, factories, smelters and traffic all combine to subject those in the city to a qualitatively difficult metaphysical path.
There is no where to get away from the electromagnetic field of the city. This is why the need for healers, shamans, guides and metaphysical centers has never been greater. The city has great power - marvels and wonders, people and places. The city can also divert you from your chosen path. Combined with the natural background energy fields of the Spirit of the Earth, the energy of the city can be harnessed for healing and growth.
